Your Network

I cast a net
Lovingly designed
Of peace and love
Intertwined
A violet network
Spun from light
To catch your fall
From any height
It stretches out
And manifests
As hands to hold you
And protect
A shoulder
For your head to rest
An ear to listen
And respect
If you should slip
If you should fall
Let my light catch you
in its trawl

Sunflower Field (in loving memory of Aunty Sue)

You are the sky
Tinted green where golden sun streams
Meet you
Looking out over sunflower fields
Warmly beckoning curious hearts
Casting an ethereal glow
You watch with a gentle blue gaze
And rustle the petals with your breath
As if to remind us to feel
And notice all of the beauty in life
Ever present in the fleeting moment
