She stands inside the castle looking out across the sea
the tide is slowly rising but she waits there silently
as the water takes it over, the walls begin to fall
I saw the castle wash away, nothing more, that was all
Beside the window knowing, the evening fading in
orange light lay across the sand between the shadows cast within
the illusion of the fortress crumbled with the last sigh of the sea
