The Soul's Garden

A first glance like a single drop of water...
A long buried seed shifts...

That night I had a hint of hesitation
As though I stood on the edge of a cliff
Looking down to where the water met the sky
But the universe had a plan
and the world continued spinning.
I greeted you as I would a dear old friend whom I have known across many life times.
Suddenly I felt I had arrived home...
Like a small sprout had broken ground
Alive to enjoy the energy of the sun
And bask beneath the galaxy
I often reminisce in awe at the vastness that lies inside of us
It connects us across time and space.
How this love has grown into a magnificent  garden
and how I still feel the same sense of wonder and awe
as though each time our eyes meet
another small seed is sown
continuing the cycle.
I can fall in love with you over and over again.
